Paradise Welfare Foundation has been selected as the partner for the "2014 Initiative to Supply ICT Supporting Devices", launched by the Ministry of Science, IT and Future Planning.The foundation will be providing one 24 inch stationary touch monitor, a supporting device for inputs into computers. This initiative has been conceivedto help the disabled gain better access and use of information and communication technology, thus closing the information gap between the disabled and the rest of society. Applications will be received from May 15 to July 18, with distribution scheduled for August. 80% of the total price of the product will be sponsored by the government, with the rest financed by the applicant himself. Anyone who is registered as a disabled person under Article 29 of the Disability Welfare Act can apply through their local government.
