Date 2015-05-04

Autonomous training on board games for special education teachers was held on April 11 by Paradise Welfare Foundation. Aimed at improving capabilities of on-site specialists, special education instructors and therapists from various fields took part.

The strong interest led to a quick filling up of the 30 slots. In the end a total of 34 people participated in the training.

After learning the basics, the assumption that ‘rules can be changed for each situation’ was made so that participants could share their ideas on how to best apply the method to disabled children.
One teacher of special education classes suggested revising the Zingo word game into a game to study the vowels and consonants. A music therapist suggested a word learning game using nursery rhymes.
