Graduation ceremony for ‘Dancing Picture Playground’, a comprehensive art class

The graduation ceremony for Dancing Picture Playground, an art class for students with disabilities, was held on December 8 in the auditorium of Suwon Jahye School (special education school). Dancing Picture Playground is a comprehensive art class that brings together visual art and dance. With its first class held on September 15, a total of 13 classes were held for 13 adolescent with disabilities. The course featured dance and visual art specialists as instructors for a more creative class operation. The graduation ceremony was held with a theme ‘Party with friends’. It was an occasion for students to showcase what they had learned. They also shared snacks and played art games installed in booths. The students have grown to become better at expressing themselves who are more self-confident and able to tap into their creativity. The Dancing Picture Playground is planned to be expanded further to reach more adolescent with disabilities.
