■ Purpose

Paradise Welfare Foundation presents the Woo-Gyeong Student’s Award to encourage those who constantly trying to overcome their disabilities and doing the best for self-development.

We also give an award to the students having a great fellowship with disabilities and so being a role model to the others.

The ultimate goal of this award is to set a stone for disabled students to be significant member of society.

And we’re hoping that their friendship between disabled and non-disabled students would spread out in our society while creating more integrated environments for us to live together.

■ Summary

1. Candidate Qualifications

- Graduating disabled and non-disabled students of special school and special class(elementary, meddle, high school)

- Adequate to the purpose of award

- Principal recommended

- February 2016 graduates

- Recommendations should be only one student at each course, except for the kindergarten and majoring course

- Disabled and non-disabled students from same school both can apply

(we never award two disabled students, a regular school)

2. Categories

- General : 330 disabled students working hard on their self-development and have a good relationship with others

- Friendships : 100 students without disabilities having the most valuable friendship with disabled students and becoming a model to improve the disability awareness

- Culture & Arts : 20 disabled students trying to develop their competence in cultural field

3. Details

- Winners get the Woo-Gyeong certificate and other prize (cultural gift certificate)

- Each award delivered individually in accordance with one’s graduation in February

4. Schedule

- Recruit period : 2nd to 20th November

- Result announced : 1st December

- Certificate sending : 7th to 11th December

1. How to apply

- Download the application form and attach the filled document

- Submit the recommendation with a personal information provided consent to award@paradise.or.kr

2. Deadline : 20th November 10:00 AM

3. Announcement : 1st December 3:00 PM at www.isori.net

4. Certificates and awards send : 7th to 11th December (※ stated schedules depend on circumstances)
