Paradise Welfare Foundation selected 11 organizations with outstanding programs under its 2014 On-site Program initiative to offer support. The selected organizations had implemented programs in various fields related to the physical development, improved self-sufficiency and reinforced family functions for disabled children

□ A special art and culture program

Hwamyoung Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Busan Cerebral Disease Welfare Center and Jinahn-Gun Disability Welfare Center hosted special programs on the theme of music and art to boost their sensibility towards art and improve social skills. They also plan to introduce another special program

Sachon Market Disability Welfare Center was selected as a best practice and received subsidies for the three years starting in 2012. This allowed them to continue with ‘Our Secret Garden’ a sex education program for adolescent with development disorders. They developed manuals so that the good practice could be shared.

    

□ Going beyond subsidies

 In addition to subsidizing costs of programs, training and vision-sharing by experts are also offered. This helps improve the quality of services, creating a virtuous cycle. Paradise Welfare Foundation goes beyond simply offering subsidies to create a healthy eco-system for welfare.

Paradise Welfare Foundation also benefits from sharing information. For less affluent local foundations, we operated programs developed by them to provide better services to the disabled nationwide.
