Paradise Welfare Foundation held the award ceremony for winners of the 2014 competition for special education content hosted by Seoul City. This competition was also sponsored by the National Center for Special Education and Seoul City Education Office. The competition was open to teachers at special needs schools at elementary, middle and high school levels. Applications were received for three categories of program, education materials and ideas, with three winners in each category. Gold medal and silver medal winners received a special plaque by the head of Education Supervisory Board in Seoul City.

□ The first step towards success

As it was the first competition on special education content, there were some things that could have been done better. In 2015 the competition will be increased in scale to cover the entire nation and more efforts will be made to make it one of the leading competitions in Korea.
